Hi this is Mikey Bustos and this video is of a serious nature. Manila, Philippines is in a state of calamity. It has been hit by several days of endless rain which has lead to severe flooding throughout the city.
As of August 8th, 2012 at least 50% of Metro Manila is flooded, and the lives of the people here in Manila have been in severe danger. People have been rapidly losing homes, vehicles, food, electricity, clean water, and their very lives.

Weeks of non-stop torrential rains have killed 51 people across the Philippines and forced thousands of residents to flee their homes on Tuesday (August 7). The heavy floods covered half of the Philippine capital Manila and pounded the nearby provinces. Water levels reached over some residents' head in several districts, where rescue workers brought those marooned by rubber boats to higher ground. The flooding crippled traffic, shut down the stock market, and prompted schools and government offices to close. Welfare department said over 20,000 affected people across Manila and nearby provinces are staying in evacuation shelters, which are converted by schools and sports gyms. The floods raised fears of a disaster on the scale of Typhoon Ketsana in 2009, when 80 percent of Manila was flooded, and more than 700 people were killed.

Congratulations to The Crew for winning the 2012 World HipHop International (WHHI) dance competition (Adult Division). Congratulations also to stellar performances from the 8 other Filipino teams who have made us all so proud!

After finishing 6th placer last year,  The Crew defeated seven groups in the finals and at least two thousand crews from 40 countries including USA, Canada, Mexico, Finland, UK, Singapore, Brazil, Argentina, Japan, New Zealand, Australia, Italy, Spain, France, India, and Germany in the preliminary round.

The Crew have won in the World Adult division while the UP Street Dance Club placed 3rd in the Megacrew category.

According to the report from AKTV, a protest has been filed to AIBA and some officials of London 2012 by the Philippine Team due to a mistake commited by the referree when he did not apply the 3 point warning rule when Mark was given only 1 WARNING. If Mark was not deducted of the points he should have won. This was not the first time this happened, A Boxing Match Decision between US and India has been reversed due to the same grounds. So lets pray that the decison will be in favor of Mark

Chris Tiu joins PBA Draft 2012.

After skipping the draft last year to continue to focus on the national team, Tiu announced he was making himself available to turn pro on Friday.

Tiu missed one year of competitive basketball after deciding to stick it out with the national team but the team soon after disbanded and he was left with practically nothing to do in the interim.
