August 10- Class Suspended in Quezon City and Universities in Manila

Classes on Quezon City are all suspended on August 10 according to Quezon City MAyor Herbert Bautista. While Inquirer tweeted that De LaSalle University (DLSU) classes, work in some campuses to resume Monday.

GMA News tweeted that QUEZON CITY: Mayor Herbert Bautista announces cancellation of classes in ALL LEVELS until FRIDAY, AUG 10.


  • Earlier. Manila declares state of calamity. About 60 percent of city still flooded. 
  • MARIKINA: Classes suspended in all levels until Friday, August 10 -- Paul Sison, PIO, Marikina City.
  • PARAƑAQUE: No classes in all levels, private and public schools, as declared by Mayor Jun Bernabe.

  • Assumption College, all levels
  • Claret School, all levels 
  • DLSU Taft, Makati, Ortigas
  • Manuel L. Quezon University, all levels
  • St. Paul College, Pasig

  • Classes in San Beda College of Arts and Sciences will resume on Monday, August 13. No classes tomorrow until Saturday
 Metro Manila:
  • Quezon City, all levels 
  • Marikina, all levels
Outside NCR:
  • Malolos, Bulacan, all levels
