August 8 and 9 Class Suspension in Philippines

Here's August 8 and 9-Wednesday and Thursday, class Suspension in Philippines! Some Universities already advised suspension of their classes on August 9, Thursday but the buzz roaming around about the suspension until Friday, August 10 is not true according to DepED. The University of Sto. Tomas already announced that there will be no classes for them until tomorrow. Meanwhile, here's the latest PAGASA latest weather bulletin:
Code: Yellow Warning Terminated
For: Metro Manila
Issued at: 11:20 AM, 08 August 2012

Light to moderate rains (1-6 mm/hr) are observed for the past 2 hours.

With this development, all Rainfall Warnings are now TERMINATED. However, Metro Manila still expect intermittent moderate to heavy rains (5-10 mm/hr).

DepEd said students should tune in to official announcements made by local government and other authorities.

DepEd and CHEd follows a new protocol by Malacañang: If there is no automatic suspension of classes due to bad weather, it is up to the decision of local government units involved to suspend classes.
